\n The announcement comes as the foundation marks a major milestone, surpassing \u00a320 million of investment in grassroots football facilities across Wales.\n<\/p>\n
\n Since its launch in 2022, the foundation has supported more than 200 clubs and benefited at least 35,000 players with improved facilities.\n<\/p>\n
\n Aaron Ramsey, captain of the Cymru men\u2019s national team, said: “It\u2019s brought me so much pride representing Cymru at three major tournaments including the World Cup so far during my career and seeing the impact it\u2019s made to football at home.\n<\/p>\n
\n “To continue this success that we\u2019ve seen over the last decade, having the right facilities is so important.\n<\/p>\n
\n “That\u2019s why I\u2019m so excited to support the Cymru Football Foundation with their ambitions to ensure all communities have access to inspirational and fit-for-future facilities.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The foundation\u2019s investments include more than \u00a38 million in women and girls\u2019 football and more than \u00a38.5 million in Wales\u2019 most deprived communities.\n<\/p>\n
\n Aled Lewis, director of the Cymru Football Foundation, said: “We\u2019re elated to have passed the \u00a320m mark in investments across Cymru.\n<\/p>\n
