The royals and the Trumps have come together for a State Banquet.<\/p>\n

Hours after U.S. President Donald Trump<\/a> and first lady Melania Trump<\/a> arrived in London to meet with the British royal family<\/a>, the senior royals threw a lavish dinner in the Trumps\u2019s honor.<\/p>\n

Prince William and Princess Catherine<\/a> shared a joint Instagram post featuring a photo of their regal ensembles for the banquet. Kate pulled out all the stops for the occasion, slipping into a golden dress and a stunning and meaningful diamond tiara.<\/p>\n

The gown was made of sheer, floral lace in a rich gold. The high-neck, long-sleeve piece was layered over a strapless ivory dress, leaving only Kate\u2019s decolletage and arms bare. The Princess of Wales wore her royal sash and pins with the dress, representing the United Kingdom and showing her respect for the American leader. But the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance of the ensemble was her Lover\u2019s Knot Tiara.<\/p>\n

The fantastic diamond-and-pearl crown is the one most frequently worn by the princess (she even wore it earlier this year<\/a>, during French President Emmanuel Macron\u2019s visit) and was also one of Princess Diana\u2019s favorites.
