This is the moment police stopped a Mercedes driver with a fridge strapped to the roof of the car.<\/p>\n

It had followed numerous calls of an “insecure load about to fall off”.<\/p>\n

Police said it was not the way to secure and transport a fridge freezer.<\/p>\n

Officers reported the driver and they were educated about highway safety.<\/p>\n

Police shared shocking images of the load next to the roadside on social media today, Wednesday, September 17.<\/p>\n

It showed the fridge packaged and strapped to the rood of the car.<\/p>\n

Posting on X, StaffsRCT said: “This vehicle was stopped northbound on the #M6<\/a> following numerous calls of an insecure load about to fall off.<\/p>\n
