{"id":432787,"date":"2025-09-18T04:25:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T04:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/432787\/"},"modified":"2025-09-18T04:25:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T04:25:11","slug":"sandwell-council-opens-applications-for-school-places","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/432787\/","title":{"rendered":"Sandwell Council opens applications for school places"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The council is urging parents and carers to apply for the academic year starting in September 2026.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The deadline for applications is January 15, 2026, and children born between September 1, 2021 and August 31, 2022, or those currently in Year 2 at infant schools, are eligible.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Sandwell Council&#8217;s cabinet member for education, Councillor Harnoor Bhullar, said: &#8220;We\u2019re proud that a high percentage of schools in Sandwell are currently rated good or outstanding by Ofsted in key areas of the framework.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;This reflects our commitment to providing high-quality education and is a key part of our child friendly Sandwell vision.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;I encourage all parents and carers to apply and take advantage of the fabulous schools we have across the borough.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Parents and carers can apply for their child&#8217;s school place online at www.sandwell.gov.uk\/admissions<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The council is urging parents and carers to apply for the academic year starting in September 2026.
