West Midlands Police are hunting a robber who hit a man from behind using a weapon in a brutal 3am attack.<\/p>\n

The victim suffered head injuries when he was hurt by another man on Stirling Road, in Edgbaston, between 3am and 4am.<\/p>\n

He also had cash, his phone, and designer jacket stolen.<\/p>\n

No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.<\/p>\n

Police are appealing for information.<\/p>\n

In a statement, police said today, Wednesday, September 17: “We are appealing for information after a man was attacked and seriously injured in Edgbaston<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“A man was attacked from behind with a weapon by another man in Stirling Road, Edgbaston, between 3am and 4am on 25 July.<\/p>\n

“The man suffered serious head injuries, and had cash, his phone, and designer jacket stolen.<\/p>\n

“Since the incident, officers investigating have carried out several enquiries including CCTV, but despite these enquiries over a number of weeks we have been unable to identify who is involved.<\/p>\n

“We are now appealing to anyone who was in the area that may have spotted anything suspicious, no matter how small.<\/p>\n
