A Liverpool coffee house has announced it is expanding, much to the delight of its customers. Rose Lane Coffee, found on the street of the same name in Mossley Hill<\/a>, took to social media to announce the news.<\/p>\n

The South Liverpool venue first opened in the leafy suburb three years ago. Since then, the dog-friendly brand has grown a loyal following thanks to its pastries and cakes.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to today and the owners revealed on Instagram they would be marking the company\u2019s birthday \u201cwith a surprise\u201d. In the same post, it said: \u201cWe\u2019re growing. A brand new location is on the way. More news soon\u201d.<\/p>\n

The post was liked more than 1,300 times, and foodies took to the comments to guess where the new venue will be situated. Angela said, \u201cPlease let it be Crosby<\/a>, please let it be Crosby.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another account said: \u201cWelcome to Woolton<\/a> Road?\u201d, whereas a third account said: \u201cThis is going to kill my bank account, this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Victoria added: \u201cFantastic, love this.\u201d Echoing a similar sentiment, Rachel said: \u201cAww, love this. Boss.\u201d Joshua wrote: \u201cSuperb stuff\u201d, and Bunny commented: \u201cWell done, guys. Slowly, you will get there. Congratulations.\u201d<\/p>\n

The news comes after a new \u201cspeciality\u201d coffee shop opened not far from Rose Lane, in the heart of South Liverpool, on Smithdown Road. Sips & Stories sells coffee, loose-leaf tea, and a variety of sweet and savoury pastries.<\/p>\n

Open Wednesday to Sunday, the venue is located next door to Frankie’s Paint-It Pottery and the Smithdown Road<\/a> branch of Subway.<\/p>\n

The menu includes spinach and feta, chicken and vegetable pastries, and bagels stuffed with turkey and cream cheese.<\/p>\n

There are also a number of sweet treats, including plant-based cinnamon buns, banana and pecan buns, orange and cardamom buns, pastel de nata, cruffins, and brownies.<\/p>\n

The new coffee shop’s owners are working closely with Wirral-based<\/a> coffee roaster Adams & Russell, which is affiliated with Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, and Women\u2019s Cooperatives.<\/p>\n

Staff at Sips & Stories believe “every cup tells a story with a rotating selection of single-origin speciality coffees from renowned plantations across the world, all of which have been ethically sourced”.
