Police appeal for help identifying man linked to serious attack on Clerk Street, Edinburgh.\"PolicePolice want to speak to this man in connection with a serious assault on Clerk Street, Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

Police <\/a>have released a photo of a man they believe can help with an investigation into a serious assault<\/a> in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

The attack <\/a>happened at around 10.45pm on Tuesday, August 12, on Clerk Street.<\/p>\n

The man is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, and of a slim build. In the image, he is wearing a white collared T-shirt and carrying a black Fox Racing rucksack.<\/p>\n

Detective Sergeant <\/a>Mark Richmond said: \u201cWe would encourage this man, anyone who may recognise him, or anyone with information about this incident to get in touch.\u201d<\/p>\n
