{"id":434040,"date":"2025-09-18T16:50:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T16:50:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/434040\/"},"modified":"2025-09-18T16:50:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T16:50:11","slug":"uk-theatre-awards-2025-nominations-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/434040\/","title":{"rendered":"UK Theatre Awards 2025 nominations announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Nominations have been announced for the annual <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/tag\/uk-theatre-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UK Theatre Awards<\/a> <\/strong>2025.<\/p>\n<p>The winners will be revealed on Sunday 12 October 2025 at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, hosted by <strong>Faye Tozer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The UK Theatre Awards is an annual event that celebrates the creative excellence and outstanding achievements seen on and off stage in theatres throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/304389\/news\/awards\/uk-theatre-awards-2025-finalists-announced-for-uks-most-welcoming-theatre-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Already announced<\/a> are the nominees for the UK\u2019s most welcoming theatre, with the <strong>Birmingham Rep<\/strong>, <strong>Royal &amp; Derngate<\/strong> in Northampton, and <strong>Shakespeare North Playhouse<\/strong> in Prescot all vying for the award.<\/p>\n<p>Also announced earlier this month, dancer, choreographer and artistic director <strong>Carlos Acosta CBE<\/strong>, Director of the Birmingham Royal Ballet, will receive the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/309943\/news\/awards\/carlos-acosta-to-receive-outstanding-contribution-to-british-theatre-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Outstanding Contribution to British Theatre Award<\/a> at the UK Theatre Awards 2025.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sheffield Theatres<\/strong> leads this year\u2019s nominations, with three across the On Stage categories;
