Nominations have been announced for the annual UK Theatre Awards<\/a> <\/strong>2025.<\/p>\n

The winners will be revealed on Sunday 12 October 2025 at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, hosted by Faye Tozer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The UK Theatre Awards is an annual event that celebrates the creative excellence and outstanding achievements seen on and off stage in theatres throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Already announced<\/a> are the nominees for the UK\u2019s most welcoming theatre, with the Birmingham Rep<\/strong>, Royal & Derngate<\/strong> in Northampton, and Shakespeare North Playhouse<\/strong> in Prescot all vying for the award.<\/p>\n

Also announced earlier this month, dancer, choreographer and artistic director Carlos Acosta CBE<\/strong>, Director of the Birmingham Royal Ballet, will receive the Outstanding Contribution to British Theatre Award<\/a> at the UK Theatre Awards 2025.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Theatres<\/strong> leads this year\u2019s nominations, with three across the On Stage categories; and ten further venues each have two nominations.<\/p>\n
