THE only way is no longer Essex for Gemma Collins.<\/p>\n

The former Towie star plans to move to the Cotswolds <\/a>with fianc\u00e9 Rami Hawash<\/a> \u2014 and she has her sights on them becoming \u201cthe new Posh and Becks\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait to get my hands on David Beckham\u2019s honey,\u201d she says, in reference to the former England captain\u2019s beekeeping produce<\/a> \u2014 cheekily dubbed his \u201cSticky Stuff\u201d by wife Victoria <\/a>\u2014 at their \u00a312million home in Great Tew, near Chipping Norton.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only way is the Cotswolds for me. It\u2019s real class.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m ready for quiet, country life. It\u2019s my spiritual home.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and Rami are the new David <\/a>and Victoria \u2014 it suits me like nobody\u2019s business.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Cotswolds has more than its fair share of celebs, with the Beckhams\u2019 4,000 acres neighbouring celeb hangout Soho Farmhouse<\/a>, while Kate Moss<\/a> and Princess Beatrice<\/a> live nearby.<\/p>\n

Hollywood<\/a> has even moved in, with Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi <\/a>regulars at Jeremy Clarkson\u2019s\u00a0pub,<\/a> The Farmer\u2019s Dog, a \u201cvery posh\u201d drinking hole, according to Gemma.<\/p>\n

And a Real Housewives<\/a> Of The Cotswolds-style series is in the works.<\/p>\n

Gemma 44, was born in Romford. She now grows vegetables and keeps chickens in her beloved garden \u2014 adorned with elephant sculptures \u2014 at her \u00a31.3million converted barn near Chelmsford.<\/p>\n

But after a string of \u201cbad omens\u201d \u2014 including the death of a chicken \u2014 she is now regularly seen driving her Land Rover around charming villages Wootton and Bourton-on-the-Water, on the lookout for a \u201cmulti-million-pound\u201d home.<\/p>\n

And Gemma will not allow any snobby Cotswoldians to look down at her.<\/p>\n

Gemma Collins nearly dies as she’s rushed to hospital in Venice<\/p>\n

On one recent trip there, Gemma pulled over to ask two local ladies for some advice. \u201cHi, honeys!\u201d, she said. \u201cWhere\u2019s nice to eat round here?\u201d<\/p>\n

The woman who responded pointed her towards gastropub The Bull in Charlbury, but warned: \u201cIt\u2019s expensive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Offended, Gemma shot back: \u201cOh, that\u2019s no problem, I could buy this town!\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

From the passenger seat, as they sped away, partner Rami, 50, scolded her for being \u201cembarrassing\u201d.<\/p>\n

But Gemma is defiant: \u201cWho does she think she is, telling me it\u2019s expensive? I\u2019m pulling up in a f***ing Defender that was \u00a3127k. Darling, do you know who I am?\u201d<\/p>\n

At the pub, where a rib of beef costs \u00a398, Gemma later conceded: \u201cI had to agree with her, it was a bit toppy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gemma and Rami, who has a mechanical repair business, have dated on and off since 2011. <\/p>\n

They got engaged for a third time<\/a> during an exotic Maldives getaway in February last year. <\/p>\n

At the time, Gemma was enthusiastic to throw THREE huge weddings<\/a>, including an Italian getaway, and visited Venice in October to taste menus.<\/p>\n

But disaster struck when a wasp stung her tongue, and she was taken to hospital<\/a> by water ambulance along the canals.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was dying, my tongue was swelling up from the back and I couldn\u2019t breathe,\u201d she says, shuddering.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an omen \u2014 Venice is off the cards. I can\u2019t get married there after nearly dying there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another health scare followed last month when she contracted a mystery virus.<\/p>\n

She says: \u201cI was nearly dead. I was out in my garden holding on to the wall at 3am, and I had an out-of-body experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

It took her a week to start feeling better and she adds: \u201cJust getting washed after seven days was a big, big moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another person suffering from ill health has been her beloved mum Joan, 80, who required a hospital dash<\/a> last year after she stopped breathing.<\/p>\n

I was nearly dead – I was out in my garden holding on to the wall at 3am, and I had an out of body experience.<\/p>\n

Joan, a breast cancer<\/a> survivor, is now in a stable condition, but Gemma decided to move her parents<\/a> in with her \u2014 and plans to hand over the house once she buys her bolthole in the Cotswolds.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll keep that Essex<\/a> house as my flagship \u2014 Mum and Dad can have that,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

While she adores living with her parents, she eyerolls as she says her dad Alan, 75, constantly tells her off for her expensive tastes.<\/p>\n

Speaking about buying Chanel bags, she says: \u201cI wait until I know the house is silent to get the bags out of the boot. My dad\u2019s like, \u2018Oh Gemma, this is ridiculous\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amid all the health issues, wedding plans \u201cgot kiboshed\u201d and she is now hoping for just the one intimate ceremony, next year at the earliest.<\/p>\n

She suggests Marylebone registry office, followed by a party at a farmhouse in, of course, the Cotswolds.<\/p>\n

GEM’S HEALTH WOES<\/p>\n

\u201cHalf a million pounds on a wedding is just ridiculous,\u201d she says. \u201cI\u2019d rather put that on my Cotswolds place.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt becomes so pressurised and it puts you off. Now, we\u2019ve decided to have a breather and have a year off. We\u2019re not doing it until 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gemma\u2019s decades-long struggle with her weight has run smoothly since November, when she started injecting weight-loss drug Mounjaro<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI absolutely love Mounjaro,\u201d she says, crediting the jabs with helping her go from 24st to 20st 7lb.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mind had to catch up with how my body was changing, because I looked so different when I looked in the mirror.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018Woah, am I ready for this?\u2019. But I\u2019m not worried about getting Ozempic face<\/a> \u2014 I\u2019d love to get Ozempic face!\u201d<\/p>\n

After a brief plateau, she now feels in \u201cno rush\u201d to shed her target of just under 6st, and finds smaller milestones more encouraging.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s little things,\u201d she says. \u201cI can get my bra done up easier now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gemma is a doting stepmother to Rami\u2019s seven-year-old son, Tristan, and describes nephews Hayden and Kane as \u201cthe light of her life\u201d.<\/p>\n

She had planned to try for a baby after losing more weight, and is still considering IVF.<\/p>\n

But she is ready to accept that she may not have children.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m 44,\u201d she says. \u201cDo I really wanna be going to the local mother and baby groups?<\/p>\n

\u201cIf it\u2019s meant to be, it will be. If I don\u2019t have a child, there\u2019s so much more I want to do.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd there is always that part of me itching, like, what can I do next?\u201d
In the past few months, Gemma has teased making a garage song, turned down a return to Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> (\u201cI\u2019m sure I\u2019ll rock up at some point\u201d) and has designs on releasing her own range of supermarket trifles after a viral video showed her thoroughly distracted by the dessert.<\/p>\n

Knowing Gemma, she will find lucrative opportunities in all of them.<\/p>\n

\u2018When I entertain, my heart is full\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cI absolutely love family time, but sometimes I have to pinch myself and remember I am The f***ing GC, let\u2019s not forget,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to remind Rami sometimes as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a little break and he saw me being very domestic \u2014 men like that. But deep down, I\u2019m an entertainer. When I entertain, my heart is full.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not ready to just sit in making packed lunches, darling\u2009.\u2009.\u2009.\u2009yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year, I\u2019m concentrating on acting. I want to make a movie, but mostly I want to appear in The White Lotus<\/a>. I want to be the new Jennifer Coolidge<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

But if that\u2019s not your cup of tea, she recommends Saudi Arabia<\/a> \u2014 which she hopes to be her next holiday destination \u2014 because \u201ceveryone deserves luxury\u201d.
