The Taggart pays homage to former jockey and SENTrack star David Taggart<\/strong> and his late father Les<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Expert tipster David \u201cGator\u201d Gately<\/strong> joined SEN Breakfast with Kane Cornes and David King to discuss the big Caulfield race day tomorrow.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019ve been in really good form because we\u2019re hot on following your tips here,\u201d Kingy said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a big day for the Taggart family.”<\/p>\n \u201cBig day for the team,\u201d Gator agreed.<\/p>\n Gator admitted that despite there being plenty of pressure on tipping the winner of The Taggart, he believes Stretan Angel<\/strong> at $5 (on Sportsbet) will take out the new race.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s a bit of pressure to find the winner on that race,\u201d Gator said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve tipped Stretan Angel in that, but she\u2019ll need to turn her form around \u2013 I think she can.\u201d<\/p>\n When Gator was asked about his best bet of the day, the expert tipster revealed that Half Yours<\/strong> at $2.20 (on Sportsbet) in Race 9 is his best.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m gonna go Race 9 at Caulfield and I think it\u2019s a really nice horse here called Half Yours,\u201d Gator revealed.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s a genuinely exciting horse \u2013 he was back and wide last time in Sydney and ran a great race back in trip.<\/p>\n \u201cA bit of rain about is a bonus for him.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, I made him the best on the big race card \u2013 that\u2019s Race 9, number 17.\u201d<\/p>\n In the Group 1 SEN Underwood Stakes, Gator admitted that Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott\u2019s Sir Delius<\/strong> will narrowly edge out the 2024 Underwood winner Buckaroo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve leant to Sir Delius over Buckaroo and the markets right there, so it\u2019s nothing groundbreaking,\u201d Gator admitted.<\/p>\n \u201cBuckaroo\u2019s been competitive with the Via Sistina\u2019s of this world and Sir Delius hasn\u2019t yet, but I don\u2019t think there is any doubt he will be.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd that is what we\u2019re gambling on.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s taken that next step, his first-up run was excellent.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve gone with Sir Delius narrowly over Buckaroo in the SEN Underwood Stakes.\u201d<\/p>\n See Gator\u2019s Game Plan for Saturday here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n![\"SSxTrack](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SSxTrack_Article_banner1.jpg\")
