A woman accused of killing an elderly couple in a house fire has been pictured for the first time. Kylie Maynard, 37, is one of three people accused of the murders<\/a> of Eric Greener and his partner Sheila Jackson, who both died following the fire at their home on South John Street, St Helens<\/a>, on Tuesday, July 15.<\/p>\n She appeared in Liverpool Magistrates Court<\/a> yesterday alongside Kevin Weetman, 34. Both stand accused of murder, conspiring to murder, arson, and conspiring to supply a controlled class A drug (cocaine).<\/p>\n A third person, Lee Owens, <\/a>46, of no fixed address, has already been charged with two counts of murder <\/a>and arson with intent to endanger life. He has been remanded into custody and will next appear on Friday, November 28 at Liverpool Crown Court.<\/p>\n Mr Greener, 77, and Ms Jackson, 83, both lost their lives in the fatal blaze which took place on South John Street<\/a> at around 12.40am <\/a>on July 15 this year. The couple were rescued from inside the home and taken to hospital, where they died from their injuries.<\/p>\n Weetman, of Croxteth<\/a> Drive, in Aigburth<\/a>, and Maynard, of Rydal Street, in Everton, were arrested on Tuesday, September 17,<\/a> bringing the total number of arrests to 10 as Merseyside Police continue their investigation.<\/p>\n They appeared in the docks flanked by security officers as their charges were read out. Weetman appeared in grey jogging bottoms and a grey T-shirt. Maynard appeared in a grey jumper and a black coat, her long brown hair hanging loose over her face.<\/p>\n Due to the seriousness of the charges, the case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court for a further hearing on October 15 this year.<\/p>\n In a statement, Detective Chief Inspector Steve McGrath said: \u201cThe investigation is progressing and two more people have now been charged in connection with this incident.<\/p>\n \u201cI would like to take this opportunity to remind people that this is a live investigation, and to be mindful that anything posted or shared on social media could jeopardise proceedings, so please support us as we move forward with the case.
