{"id":436881,"date":"2025-09-19T20:17:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-19T20:17:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/436881\/"},"modified":"2025-09-19T20:17:10","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T20:17:10","slug":"man-charged-over-attempted-kidnap-and-assault-near-school-in-birmingham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/436881\/","title":{"rendered":"Man charged over attempted kidnap and assault near school in Birmingham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">A man has been charged with three counts of attempted kidnap following an incident near a school.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Police were called to Vaughton Street South in Birmingham at 15:15 BST on Tuesday after reports of a man assaulting members of the public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Aron Tesfamriyam, 27, from Stoke-on-Trent, was subsequently charged with attempted kidnap, three counts of assault by beating and one count of affray.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">He appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday where he was remanded in custody.
