The brothers have been estranged ever since the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, quit as senior royals and gave a tell-all interview about their issues with Royal Family in 2020 but a close pal of Harry, 41, believes they will soon patch up their relationship.<\/p>\n
Alex Rayner, who has remained close with Harry ever since they took part in a North Pole charity trek together in 2012, told the Daily Mail\u2019s Eden Confidential column: \u201cAs soon as the opportunity presents itself, we\u2019ll see a wonderful embrace between the two brothers. Absolutely.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would hope [it will take place in the next few months]. Certainly, if not by the end of the year, then next. They\u2019ll hug in the not-too-distant future.\u201d<\/p>\n
Harry recently enjoyed an hour-long meeting with his father King Charles, 76, during a solo visit to the UK, without Meghan or their children Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.<\/p>\n
And, while Charles and Harry\u2019s relationship has also been strained, particularly since the release of Harry\u2019s tell-all book Spare in 2023, Alex insisted their bond is \u201cindestructible\u201d.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cA rift between father and son is never that big. A father\u2019s love for his son is pretty indestructible.\u201d<\/p>\n
Following the meeting with his father, Harry \u2013 who now lives in California with his family – declared that he hopes to spend more time in Britain following a successful trip.<\/p>\n
He told The Guardian newspaper: “Yes, I have enjoyed the week.<\/p>\n
“I have always loved the UK and I always will love the UK. It’s been good to reconnect with the causes I am passionate about. I have been able to spend some time with people that I have known for so long.
