Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle<\/a> have been brutally mocked in Spitting Image’s latest episode<\/a>. The comedy puppet show, which returned on the week of Donald Trump<\/a>‘s second state visit to the UK, featured skits with the Sussex couple, the US President, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer<\/a> and King Charles<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spitting Image was one of the most-watched shows in Britain in the 1980s, running from 1984 until 1996 and from 2020 to 2022. Now the show, which uses puppets depicting well-known figures that are voiced by comedians, has released a brand new series on YouTube.<\/p>\n

It will be available on YouTube in 12 short-form vodcast-style episodes under the name, The Rest Is Bulls*!t, a nod to the Goalhanger Podcasts that begin with the title “The Rest Is”.<\/p>\n

In its second episode, which aired on Friday night, the Duke of Sussex’s balding puppet introduces himself as “just a regular fifth in line to the throne”.<\/p>\n

He then says while sitting next to Paddington Bear: “On the show, Pads and I like to talk about the issues of the day that affect us all, like negotiating a third Netflix<\/a> series, as well as offering our life hacks.”<\/p>\n

The Duke’s puppet then proceeds to talk about immigration: “Being an immigrant isn’t easy. I know, I immigrated to America, and fitting in is hard.<\/p>\n

“In the US, they call lifts elevators and over there, I’m called a fa*** so always finds your cues.”<\/p>\n

The puppet then satirises the Duke’s security battle, “revealing” the reason the Duke made the move.<\/p>\n

It says: “My family had to flee Britain because the intrusive UK media weren’t paying as much as the intrusive US media.”<\/p>\n

It even made a drug-related joke, referring to Harry’s revelations about past drug use in his memoir Spare, after describing Paddington Bear as “so dope”.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, the creators mock Meghan Markle<\/a>, who introduces herself as “I’m Meghan Sussex and I am a good person.<\/p>\n

“I am meeting another good person today, Ariana Grande.”<\/p>\n

The skit makes fun of Meghan Markle<\/a>‘s Netflix<\/a> show, With Love Meghan, where she dishes out various meals, hosting tips and tricks to her celebrity friends.<\/p>\n

In the episode, Meghan’s puppet can be seen making food that her “British husband” calls a “packet of crisps”, saying: “It can be a tricky dish to master”.<\/p>\n

In another clip, the Duke’s recent meeting with the King is discussing, with puppet Harry saying: “This week, i saw my father after the longest time.<\/p>\n

“It was mega. We spent almost 50 minutes together and didn’t know where to start.”<\/p>\n

The new series of the satirical puppet show, known for taking aim at high-profile figures including Mr Trump and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, is to feature new puppets that depict Prime Minister of Israel<\/a> Benjamin Netanyahu, US vice president JD Vance and leader of North Korea Kim Jong Un.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been brutally mocked in Spitting Image’s latest episode.
