It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle<\/a> aren\u2019t the only members of the British royal family<\/a> making moves in Hollywood, as reports claim that the couple is \u201cfurious\u201d at Prince William\u2019s<\/a> recent move in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n

A source told Radar Online<\/a> in a report published on September 19 that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex<\/a> are \u201cjealous\u201d of William\u2019s recent appearance alongside Schitt\u2019s Creek star Eugene Levy in a clip for AppleTV+\u2019s travel series, The Reluctant Traveler. In the episode, William was seen walking through Windsor Palace with Levy before joking, \u201cWas getting drunk with Prince William on your bucket list,\u201d as Levy laughs and responds, \u201cIt\u2019s the bucket.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to a source, the moment was a \u201cpainful reminder\u201d of Harry and Meghan\u2019s<\/a> own Hollywood ambitions, especially as the couple struggles to keep their multi-million deal with Netflix amid negative reviews for Meghan\u2019s lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan. \u201cHarry and Meghan are certain it\u2019s not by chance that so many major stars are keeping their distance,\u201d an insider said. \u201cThey believe it\u2019s now trendier for celebrities to align themselves with William and Kate \u2013 and the jealousy is eating away at them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite Netflix renewing her and Harry\u2019s<\/a> contracts for a reported much-smaller rate, Meghan\u2019s show, With Love, Meghan, struggled to make it into the platform\u2019s top 10 shows after its second season\u2019s premiere earlier in 2025. \u201cShe felt humiliated when the top-tier stars failed to show up,\u201d an insider said of the lack of support Meghan and Harry received from their Hollywood friends for her second season of With Love, Meghan. \u201cTo them, it seems like William is making things more difficult for them to grab any of the limelight they crave. They are even convinced he is poisoning Hollywood executives against them.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Harry and Meghan\u2019s Hollywood careers struggle, the source noted of how William is using his connections to enter the entertainment industry. \u201cWilliam has plenty of motivation to court Hollywood,\u201d the insider said. \u201cIt\u2019s a huge way to update the monarchy and raise the Crown\u2019s profile in the U.S. \u2013 and, of course, he can\u2019t help but smirk at the way it is winding up Harry and Meghan.\u201d<\/p>\n
