Prince Harry and Prince William may reconcile their fractured bond<\/a> in the near future, according to an intimate confidant of the Duke of Sussex<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The royal siblings have remained estranged since Harry and his wife Meghan Markle<\/a> quit their senior royal duties and publicly voiced their complaints against the royal family during a shocking 2020 sit-down with Oprah Winfrey.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Harry’s long-standing friend Alex Rayner, who joined him on a charitable expedition to the North Pole in 2012, revealed to the Daily Mail’s Eden Confidential column, “As soon as the opportunity presents itself, we’ll see a wonderful embrace between the two brothers. Absolutely<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

He continued, “I would hope [it will take place in the next few months]. Certainly, if not by the end of the year, then next. They’ll hug in the not-too-distant future.”<\/p>\n

During a recent solo journey to the UK, Harry held an hour-long discussion with his father, King Charles, without Meghan or their children, six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet.<\/p>\n

While in Ukraine<\/a>, he told The Guardian, “Yes, I have enjoyed the week. I have always loved the UK and I always will love the UK.<\/p>\n

“It’s been good to reconnect with the causes I am passionate about. I have been able to spend some time with people that I have known for so long. It is hard to do it from far away.”<\/p>\n

Harry also discussed his memoir, Spare, and his Netflix projects with Meghan, describing these as attempts to correct a “one point of view.”<\/p>\n

The prince, who celebrated his 41st birthday this month, stated, “I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear.<\/p>\n

“I know that [speaking out] annoys some people, and it goes against the narrative. The book? It was a series of corrections to stories already out there. One point of view had been put out, and it needed to be corrected.”<\/p>\n

Harry traveled to Kyiv to support the work of his Invictus Games Foundation (IGF), celebrating the resilience and recovery of thousands of veterans who have suffered life-changing injuries since the conflict with Russia<\/a> started three years ago.<\/p>\n

However, the father of two recognized that his visit was risky and admitted his dislike for staged photo opportunities.<\/p>\n
