I learned, won, lost and grew throughout. Football gave me so much but now it\u2019s time for new chapter. I\u2019m not forced to stop (I\u2019m ready to. I\u2019m thankful for everything, especially my family &amp; children who were always there for me)&#8221;..<\/p>\n<p>International Legacy<\/p>\n<p>Born in Berlin, Boateng earned 76 cap for Germany between 2009 &amp; 2018. He was a key figure in the nation\u2019s 2014 World cup triumph in Brazil and also lifted the UEFA U21 Championship in 2009.
