A pack of ‘Bullies and Staffys’ have hospitalised a dogwalker after attacking him and his Labrador in Cambuslang.<\/a><\/p>\n

Emergency crews rushed to Bogleshole Road at around 5.05pm on Friday September 19 after receiving reports<\/a> of a “group of dogs setting upon a man and his dog”.<\/p>\n

A 65-year-old man has been rushed to hospital for treatment while his dog was taken to a veterinary practice.<\/a><\/p>\n

Officers have since arrested<\/a> a 27-year-old man in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n

An eyewitness told Glasgow Live<\/a> that five dogs who “attacked” the man were “Bullies and Staffys”.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 5.05pm on Friday, 19 September, 2025 we received a report of a group of dogs setting upon a man and his dog in Bogleshole Road, Cambuslang. Officers attended and a 27-year-old man was arrested in connection.<\/p>\n

“A 65-year-old man attended hospital for treatment and his dog was taken to a veterinary practice. The 27-year-old is will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”<\/p>\n
