A young motorcyclist has died following a crash in the Black Country.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> have launched an urgent witness appeal following the collision on New Birmingham Road in Tividale on Friday afternoon, September 19.<\/p>\n

Tragically a 27-year-old man, who was the motorbike rider, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

Officers confirmed there were “a lot of witnesses” but have urged anyone who hasn’t already to come forward with information that might help the investigation.<\/p>\n

An appeal was released on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

A West Midlands Police<\/a> spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information after a man sadly died following a collision in Tividale yesterday (19 Sep).<\/p>\n

“We were called to New Birmingham<\/a> Road at the junction of Hilton Road just after 2.35pm after a motorbike hit the central reservation.<\/p>\n

“The motorbike rider, a 27-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”<\/p>\n

Detective Sergeant Julie Lyman from our Serious Collison Investigation Unit, said: \u201cThis is a tragic incident and our thoughts remain with loved ones affected.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have specialist investigators supporting them at this awful time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know there were a lot of witnesses to the collision and urge anyone who hasn\u2019t already, to come forward with any information or video footage about the incident.\u201d<\/p>\n
