Dominic Calvert-Lewin has admitted that Leeds United were left with some frustrations despite defeating Wolves 3-1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leeds United<\/a> got back to winning ways in style on Saturday, defeating relegation rivals Wolves 3-1 in a crucial victory.<\/a><\/p>\n

Daniel Farke\u2019s<\/a> side fell behind after just eight minutes but didn\u2019t allow their heads to drop, storming back to go two goals in front before half-time.<\/p>\n

Dominic Calvert-Lewin dragged his new side level<\/a> with an impressive header, before a stunning Anton Stach free-kick<\/a> sent them into the lead.<\/p>\n

Noah Okafor\u2019s tidy finish<\/a> completed the turnaround to put Leeds in the driving seat in the second half.<\/p>\n

However, Leeds were on the back foot after the break and had to rely on several fine Karl Darlow<\/a> saves to maintain their advantage.<\/p>\n

Calvert-Lewin<\/a> has admitted the whole squad was \u2018frustrated\u2019 by their performance in the second half.<\/p>\n

Leeds showed defensive resilience as the home side pushed to get back into the game, but struggled to create any more chances of their own against a team pushing high up the field.<\/p>\n

The Whites were hemmed into their own half, and it\u2019s something they want to improve going forward.<\/p>\n

Calvert-Lewin told BBC Match of the Day:<\/a> \u201cWe were a bit frustrated with how we played in the second half and we should have took the game to them a little bit more. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe didn\u2019t come out with the intention to sit back, but that\u2019s the way it panned out. I think it showed our resilience to be able to defend deep. <\/p>\n

\u201cNext time, we\u2019ll look to build on the momentum in the first half and not just look to sit back.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a massive win. We knew what we were capable of going into the game. It\u2019s a big game even though it\u2019s early in the season. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think going 1-0 down, we showed great character to turn it around, and then we had the confidence to play. The rest took care of itself.\u201d<\/p>\n

It hadn\u2019t been the best start in a Leeds shirt for Calvert-Lewin,<\/a> as he missed several great chances and a penalty in the shootout in his debut, the Carabao Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.<\/a><\/p>\n

He then missed another good chance in the defeat to Fulham last weekend, so bouncing back with a strong display is vital, as Leeds will need his goals if they are to stay up.<\/p>\n

Calvert-Lewin is delighted to get off the mark and has promised to build upon the momentum.<\/p>\n

\u201cStrikers feed off goals,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt gives you confidence.
