It will bring together world-leading academics, pioneering researchers, industry experts, and innovative businesses to share bold ideas and real-world applications of AI.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" alt=\"Liverpool City Region AI Summit returns with top name speakers\" class=\"wp-image-446771 lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LCRCA-AI-Summit-2025-Web-Banner-1600-x-1200-v1a-1024x768.jpg\"  data- data-eio-rwidth=\"1024\" data-eio-rheight=\"768\"\/><\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s programme spans\u00a0<strong>four stages<\/strong>\u00a0and is expected to draw more than\u00a0<strong>800 attendees<\/strong>, with a powerful line-up of keynote speakers including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Professor Michael Wooldridge<\/strong>\u00a0(Oxford University), who delivered the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures on AI in 2023.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mike Bracken CBE<\/strong>, founder of the UK Government Digital Service and the country\u2019s first Chief Data Officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>International guests from Europe, Australia, and the US will give the summit a global dimension, reflecting Liverpool\u2019s growing position as a hub for AI. Earlier this year, global IT giant\u00a0<strong>Kyndryl<\/strong>\u00a0chose the city as the base for a major new AI operation.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by\u00a0<strong>BBC presenter Jo Coburn<\/strong> and featuring interactive AI-powered avatars, the event will also hear from the Liverpool City Region\u2019s\u00a0<strong>first Chief AI Officer<\/strong>, the only role of its kind in a UK Combined Authority.
