{"id":440773,"date":"2025-09-21T11:06:43","date_gmt":"2025-09-21T11:06:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/440773\/"},"modified":"2025-09-21T11:06:43","modified_gmt":"2025-09-21T11:06:43","slug":"horse-racing-2025-the-horse-who-is-unbeatable-in-the-caulfield-cup-rsn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/440773\/","title":{"rendered":"Horse Racing 2025: The Horse Who Is &#8220;Unbeatable&#8221; In The Caulfield Cup | Rsn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"v2_larger-content\">  Travis Noonan believes it is impossible to beat Half Yours in the Caulfield Cup.<\/p>\n<p>RSN\u2019s <strong>Travis Noonan<\/strong> has praised <strong>Half Yours<\/strong> as the \u201cunbeatable\u201d horse in the Group 1 Caulfield Cup (2400m).<\/p>\n<p>The five-year-old gelding won the Group 3 Naturalism Stakes (2000m) in incredible fashion.<\/p>\n<p>At the 200m, Half Yours bolted home proving that he can handle the 2400m distance of the Caulfield Cup easily.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the Naturalism Stakes, Travis Noonan claimed that Half Yours would start as favourite in the Caulfield Cup if he won the Group 3 and that is exactly what happened.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Tony McEvoy<\/strong> trained chestnut is now the $5.50 favourite (on Sportsbet) alongside <strong>Buckaroo<\/strong> for the Cup.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sen.com.au\/tips\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SSxTrack_Article_banner2.jpg\" alt=\"SSxTrack Article banner2\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are receipts out there, we said Half Yours if he won the Naturalism, he\u2019ll go to the Caulfield Cup favourite and that is exactly what he did with a big performance in the Group 3,\u201d Travis told SENTrack and RSN&#8217;s Correct Weight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHalf Yours was too good for his opposition in the Naturalism Stakes, he absolutely bolted up in the end.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe way the race unfolded, <strong>Jamie (Melham)<\/strong> must\u2019ve been laughing at the 600m mark because he was just trucking and she just had a great passage up along the inside.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a race that was run at a really good tempo and he\u2019s run the ninth quickest last 200m of the entire day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Travis\u2019 brother Nick also admitted that Half Yours now looks like a completely levelled up horse compared to six months ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe might go straight into a Caulfield Cup, maybe they look to give him another lead up run, but he is the favourite now,\u201d Nick said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s really come on, I remember seeing six months ago and he looks like a different horse now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe looks like he\u2019s at this level now, he\u2019s really taken a lot of improvement and the way he handled himself (was incredible).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s gonna have a big impact in the Caulfield Cup. There are no doubts that he is probably the best placed horse right now at the weights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to winning the Naturalism Stakes both Travis and Nick believe that the gelding will receive a weight penalty in the Caulfield Cup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Travis:<\/strong> \u201cHe\u2019s on 51kg in the Caulfield Cup which is the new minimum.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat do you think happens from a handicapping perspective?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWill they be giving them any penalty for winning yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nick:<\/strong> \u201cI would imagine he gets some sort of penalty.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019d have to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Travis:<\/strong> \u201cI think the maximum penalty would be a kilogram.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Even with the predicted extra weight, Travis believes Half Yours is still impossible to beat in the Cup.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think he\u2019s unbeatable in the Caulfield Cup,\u201d Travis exclaimed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn what he did there yesterday, if he gets a kilogram and he\u2019s on 52kg \u2013 he can handle fast speeds, slow speeds, he\u2019s got a turn of foot \u2013 gee, he\u2019s gonna be hard to hold out.<\/p>\n<p>Nick couldn\u2019t agree with his brother though, as there are plenty of other horses who could take out the Cup, so Travis doubled down on his claim.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s gonna run a super race, but there is a bit of opposition there,\u201d Nick disagreed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBuckaroo ran super yesterday, also <strong>Birdman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are a few others there who are putting their hand up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNah, I still stand by it, he is definitely the horse to beat,\u201d Travis said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s unbeatable in the Caulfield Cup.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sen.com.au\/news\/2025\/09\/16\/caulfield-cup-weights-buckaroo-top-weight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to see the full Caulfield Cup weights.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/eepurl.com\/jm2mdQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/eDM_SIGN_UP.png\" alt=\"eDM SIGN UP\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Travis Noonan believes it is impossible to beat Half Yours in the Caulfield Cup.
