6<\/p>\n A top Brit rock band have left fans devastated after performing their final-ever gigCredit: Getty 6<\/p>\n You Me at Six announced their shock split last yearCredit: Getty – Contributor 6<\/p>\n They performed their final concert at Wembley on Friday – and left fans pleading ‘come back already’Credit: Getty – Contributor<\/p>\n Chart regulars You Me At Six<\/a>\u00a0took to Instagram<\/a> in January 2024 for a sombre video filmed in a graveyard representing the death of the band for good.<\/p>\n Now they have wrapped up their career – after scooping seven top 10 albums – after rounding off their latest tour at the London venue.<\/p>\n The Lived A Lie hitmakers posted a collage of images to their Instagram grid, showing them embracing on-stage as well as a huge screen with a message to their loyal fans.<\/p>\n The white text on black background read: “We have been and always will be You Me At Six.<\/p>\n “2005 -2025 thank you.<\/p>\n “Sixers forever.”<\/p>\n Emotional fans were quick to comment underneath, with one pleading: “Come back already please, this isn\u2019t funny anymore gonna miss you all so much. Thank you so much for everything.”<\/p>\n Another wrote: “Thank you boys for your music and for saving me and so many of your fans, I\u2019m heartbroken that you\u2019re retiring but your music will always live on, thank you.”<\/p>\n A third posted: “So gutted. Soundtrack to my life since before I can remember, thanks guys x”<\/p>\n One then gushed: “Thank you for everything. You guys have been there through it all. Love you forever! LONG LIVE YMAS!!!”<\/p>\n It’s the right time’ say huge UK rock band as they announce shock split <\/p>\n One of the most successful British bands of the 21st century, YMAS scored two number one albums in Cavalier Youth and 2021’s Suckapunch.<\/p>\n SPEAKING OUT<\/p>\n After the final gig in their 20th anniversary year, YMAS singer Josh Franceschi told The Daily Star<\/a>: \u201cWe want to stand behind what we’re saying, so it would be wrong to say we have every intention to come back in 10 years or whatever.”<\/p>\n Musing on a reunion he added: “I don’t know. I will never completely close my heart to the band, I don’t think any of us will. <\/p>\n “But right now it feels far away from that. Never say never.”<\/p>\n The Bite My Tongue vocalist then confessed: “It’s odd to go out when you know you haven’t peaked yet.<\/p>\n “We still have more to offer as a band, we could’ve made more records. It’s a hard thing to walk away from, but a good thing we aren’t jumping out of a vehicle that’s about to crash. <\/p>\n “There’s no sadness, it’s just a good time.”<\/p>\n Away from the stage, singer Josh previously spoke to The Sun to try and dispel stigma around mental\u00a0health\u00a0and talked openly about seeing a therapist.<\/p>\n He told us: \u201cEveryone should talk. If you don’t want to show vulnerability to someone close to you, talking to a therapist is a must, in my\u00a0opinion.
