{"id":442174,"date":"2025-09-22T01:28:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-22T01:28:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/442174\/"},"modified":"2025-09-22T01:28:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-22T01:28:09","slug":"rare-fin-whale-filmed-off-falmouth-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/442174\/","title":{"rendered":"Rare fin whale filmed off Falmouth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">A wildlife photographer has captured rare footage of a fin whale off the coast of Cornwall, in what he describes as one of the most memorable moments of his career.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Dylan Coundley-Hughes, who is based in west Wales, was visiting Cornwall for a few days to film marine wildlife when he received a tip-off from local fishermen about a large whale sighting in Falmouth Bay.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;We headed out early Friday morning and started scanning the water,&#8221; he said. &#8220;There were feeding frenzies going on, dolphins, tuna, birds, and then we saw the blow of the whale.
