Prince Harry\u2019s reconciliation with the British royal family may be further off than anticipated, as the only member previously open to meeting him<\/a> is now expressing \u201chesitations.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex recently visited the UK and during his trip back to his home country, he met with his father, King Charles III<\/a>, for the first time in 19 months.<\/p>\n

During their time apart, their preexisting feud had only deepened with Prince Harry<\/a>\u2019s public revelations of his father\u2019s health and his legal battle with his UK security requests<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the King put that behind him to meet with his son this month. However, it seems his son\u2019s current actions have placed reservations on reconciliation back in his father\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

After the two had met, a source close to the Sussexes claimed there was a \u201cthawing of their relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source revealed, \u201cThese syrupy briefings from supposed Sussex sources are precisely why The King and Royal family are so hesitant to embark on any road to rapprochement.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the intention is to encourage a rebuilding of trust and relationships, they serve the precise opposite effect,\u201d they concluded.<\/p>\n

While the King is a “forgiving man,\u201d he reportedly does not plan to disregard the rest of this family\u2019s consistent efforts for the sake of welcoming back Harry. He has chosen to go about the situation in the way his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, would have expected, which means there can not be “half-in, half-out” members of the working Royal family.<\/p>\n

In fact, he is allegedly making decisions in close consultation with his other son, Prince William<\/a>, who has remained a steady and loyal presence by his side.<\/p>\n
