Manchester United<\/a> are once again being linked with a move for Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson.<\/p>\n

United made five new signings during the summer transfer window, including a major revamp of their forward line with the arrivals of Matheus Cunha<\/a>, Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> and Benjamin Sesko<\/a>. Senne Lammens and Diego Leon also moved to Old Trafford<\/a> this summer but are yet to make their first appearances for the club.<\/p>\n

The end of the summer also saw United heavily linked <\/a>with signing a new midfielder, as Brighton star Carlos Baleba emerged as a potential target. Now, though, it seems that United may try and pursue a deal for Anderson as they look to bolster their midfield options.<\/p>\n

TEAMtalk have reported that United are weighing up making a move for Anderson during the January transfer window. United are reported to have the money available to sign a midfielder in the New Year, with Ruben Amorim<\/a> maintaining the backing of the Old Trafford hierarchy.<\/p>\n

Baleba is mentioned in the report as a ‘dream’ target for United, who is likely to only be available next summer if a transfer is going to be possible. As a result, United are turning their attention to Anderson ahead of the January window, although it’s suggested that Forest will be hesitant to sell one of their star players.<\/p>\n
