Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh<\/a> stepped out in a gorgeous blue midi dress<\/a> as she visited the Osaka Expo today during her royal visit to Japan (22 September).<\/p>\n

Attending the event alongside her husband the Duke of Edinburgh, the pair were seen meeting Japanese royals, as well as taking a tour around the Expo’s interactive displays.<\/p>\n

The Duchess also spoke about gender equality at a UN Women Panel, along with listening to other speakers expand on the issues women face around the world.<\/p>\n

Wearing the colour of the season, Sophie<\/a> was captured wearing a stylish blue polka dot<\/a> dress from Beulah London, which featured elegant pearl detailing and stylish puff sleeves.<\/p>\n

To style her blue ensemble, Sophie<\/a> teamed her polished look with summery white wedges and a blue crochet handbag<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wearing her blonde locks in a relaxed low bun, the Duchess opted for simple gold jewellery and a natural makeup finish for her royal engagement. <\/p>\n

This isn’t the only time we’ve seen the Duchess wear this stunning frock, it seems this dress has become a timeless staple in her wardrobe.<\/p>\n

Snapped in the same dress in London during springtime this year, Sophie wore the chic polka dot number when she met with pensioners at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea in London at the end of April. <\/p>\n
