At this point, you\u2019re no doubt aware that the past weekend saw London animate with a flurry of fabulous fashions, thanks to knockout shows from the likes of Simone Rocha<\/a>, Talia Byre<\/a>, Erdem<\/a> and many more. Amid all the madness, though, we opened the doors to our very own weekend-long caf\u00e9 in the Strand\u2019s latest hotspot, The Corner Shop, in partnership with Nike<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To kick things off, British Vogue and Nike hosted an intimate breakfast, where the likes of Irish sprinter Rhasidat Adeleke<\/a>, Iris Law<\/a>, Sam McKnight<\/a> and Charlotte Mensah<\/a> all turned up to celebrate the Vogue Caf\u00e9\u2019s opening. Over green juices, avo toasts and hearty granola bowls, the audience heard from inspirational British Olympian sprinter and Nike athlete Imani-Lara Lansiquot<\/a>, who shared her thoughts on maintaining a winning mindset and bringing her inimitable sense of style to the track, in conversation with British Vogue\u2019s fashion & style editor, Mahoro Seward.<\/p>\n

Guests were presented with bouquets by McQueens.<\/p>\n

The doors then opened to all for the weekend\u2019s full programme. Whether stopping by for a quick bite between shows, a scoop of Gelupo gelato or custom-wrapped bouquets by McQueens, guests could enjoy The Corner Shop\u2019s deli, have an advance flick through the jam-packed October issue of British Vogue, or peruse knockout merch from our very own Vogue collection. Also on offer were an array of Nike\u2019s most directional footwear, including the Shox Z, the Air Max Muse and the Air Superfly.<\/p>\n

Day one of the takeover closed out with a cocktail evening in the space, attended by friends and family of Vogue. The following morning, there was an early rendezvous to get the blood pumping \u2013 a riverside run club hosted by Nike trainer Dora Atim. After the 5k jaunt, it was back to The Corner Shop, where titans like Anna Wintour<\/a> and BFC CEO Laura Weir<\/a> were spotted in the crowd.<\/p>\n

To say that the energy in the space was alive all weekend would be selling it short, but there were also options for anyone seeking a moment of quiet contemplation. Throughout the weekend, Nike trainer Rebekah Jade hosted meditation and breathwork sessions, offering opportunities to ground and pause amid the hubbub.<\/p>\n

While we\u2019re somewhat biased, the Vogue Caf\u00e9, in partnership with Nike, was easily among our London Fashion Week highlights. And not just because of the delicious bites on offer, or the all-round impeccable vibes. Throughout its run, there was a palpable sense of purpose \u2013 and of celebration of the overlap between culture, sport and style.<\/p>\n
