Dean Hadley has officially declares his ambitions.\"HullHull KR’s Dean Hadley was named in this year’s Super League Dream Team.<\/p>\n

Dean Hadley has declared he would \u201clove to\u201d represent England in this year\u2019s Ashes series, admitting his hunger to improve never fades after earning his first Super League Dream Team call-up.<\/p>\n

The industrious Hull KR<\/a> forward was named in the back-row of this year\u2019s prestigious team, one of four Robins included alongside Peta Hiku, Jez Litten, and reigning Man of Steel Mikey Lewis.<\/p>\n

Hadley was a surprise omission from Shaun Wane\u2019s extended England squad earlier this year<\/a>, named in preparation for the three-match series against reigning world champions Australia this autumn. However, he has continued to impress, with calls growing louder for his inclusion.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s played a pivotal role in Hull KR\u2019s remarkable season so far, helping secure both the Challenge Cup and the League Leaders\u2019 Shield – with eyes now on a potential treble at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s out of my control, but of course I want to,\u201d Hadley said on representing England.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo play for your country would be unbelievable – it would be the proudest moment ever. All I can do is play well every week, and if anything happens like that, it\u2019d be awesome.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d love to, and my family would be proud. I\u2019m hungry, so to keep going after things, that\u2019s all I can do.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been happy with what I’ve done this year, and being consistent is something I\u2019ve really prided myself on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hadley, who missed just two regular-season Super League games this year, became the fourth Hull KR back-rower to be named in the Dream Team. His tireless performances have seen him shed the “unsung hero” tag and rightfully step into the spotlight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really proud,\u201d he said of his Dream Team inclusion. \u201cI\u2019m obviously not the youngest anymore, and I\u2019ve had to wait a long time to earn stuff like this.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just shows that if you work hard, stick at it and keep improving, sometimes the rewards come later on.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m 33 now, but it proves that it\u2019s not too late to start getting some success with things like this. It\u2019s given me the taste to keep working hard and staying hungry.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also credited Hull KR for giving him the platform to thrive, having made the move to Sewell Group Craven Park in 2019. The fan favourite was also recently rewarded with an extended contract, securing his future until the end of 2027<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the reasons I moved to Hull KR was because I need to be playing every week, and I\u2019ve been able to do that, and being injury free massively helps,” he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou want to be on the field, and I\u2019ve managed that. On the back of that, people get to see what type of player you are and what type of person you are.<\/p>\n
