The company says the same \u201cnatively multimodal model\u201d powering the image generator will be accessible in its API via \u201cgpt-image-1,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/index\/image-generation-api\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to a blog post<\/a>, and some major names have already signed up to use it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">\u201cThe model\u2019s versatility allows it to create images across diverse styles, faithfully follow custom guidelines, leverage world knowledge, and accurately render text \u2013 unlocking countless practical applications across multiple domains,\u201d OpenAI says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Companies like Adobe and Figma are already incorporating the model into their tools. Here\u2019s how, per the blog post:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"duet--article--blockquote ewrhy30 _1xwtict9\">\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup ewrhy38 _1xwtict1\">Adobe\u2019s leading ecosystem of creative tools including its Firefly and Express apps will provide access to OpenAI\u2019s image generation capabilities, giving creators the choice and flexibility to experiment with different aesthetic styles \u2013 something business professionals, consumers and creators all value when generating new creative ideas.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"duet--article--blockquote ewrhy30 _1xwtict9\">\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup ewrhy38 _1xwtict1\">Figma is leveraging the latest model to bring advanced image generation and editing capabilities across its platform. Rolling out starting today, users can use \u2018gpt-image-1\u2019 in Figma Design to generate and edit images from simple prompt \u2013 adjusting styles, adding or removing objects, expanding backgrounds, and more.
