I said, That\u2019s the coolest name I\u2019ve ever heard. William the Conqueror. And he built this massive castle, and he was known for winning wars. It\u2019s very interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump then recalled his conversation with <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/world-news\/us-news\/prince-harry-and-meghan-markle-make-surprising-appearance-at-one805live-concert-after-king-charles-reunion-101758454792436.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"King Charles\" rel=\"noopener\">King Charles<\/a>. \u201cI asked King Charles, Why don\u2019t we call you Charles the Conqueror? He said no. I don\u2019t think so. But he\u2019s a great guy, and he\u2019s doing a great job, an unbelievable job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>William the Conqueror ruled England in the 11th century.<\/p>\n<p>The anecdote comes after Trump\u2019s second state visit to the United Kingdom, where he met with members of the Royal Family and Prime Minister <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/topic\/keir-starmer\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"Keir Starmer\" rel=\"noopener\">Keir Starmer<\/a>. He called the ceremonies with King Charles III \u201cone of the highest honors of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Grand welcome of Donald Trump<\/p>\n<p>Trump was welcomed with a large guard of honor, carriage rides, an air show, and a state dinner at Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n<p>According to the BBC, Trump plans to invite <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/world-news\/us-news\/prince-harry-and-meghan-markle-make-surprising-appearance-at-one805live-concert-after-king-charles-reunion-101758454792436.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"King Charles\" rel=\"noopener\">King Charles<\/a> and Queen Camilla to the United States next year. No date has been set.<\/p>\n<p>At the Virginia event, Trump also announced he will award Ben Carson the Presidential Medal of Freedom. \u201cCongratulations, Ben. He didn\u2019t know this,\u201d Trump said. \u201cHe didn\u2019t know it.
