Yesterday featured the U23 Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s races against the clock, while today the spotlight was on the Juniors where <strong>Ashlin Barry<\/strong> (Toronto, Ont.; JEGG &#8211; SKIL &#8211; DJR) and <strong>Beckam Drake\u00a0<\/strong>(Amarillo, Tex.; Hill\u2019s Sport Shop) delivered top-five finishes in the Junior Men\u2019s event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Men\u2019s Time Trial<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Ashlin Barry<\/strong> (Toronto, Ont.; JEGG &#8211; SKIL &#8211; DJR) came into this year\u2019s race hungry for a podium after finishing ninth in the same event last year. For <strong>Beckam Drake\u00a0<\/strong>(Amarillo, Tex.; Hill\u2019s Sport Shop), it was his first World Championships where he had nothing to lose, and everything to gain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drake delivered a fearless ride, clocking the fastest splits across the 22.6-kilometer course and storming into the hot seat by more than 30 seconds. He held onto the lead until eventual bronze medalist Seff van Kerckhove (BEL) edged him out by just five seconds. Michiel Mouris (NED) then raised the bar with a blistering 29:01.61, setting a new mark to beat. That left the spotlight on Barry, who powered through with a determined ride to take over second place.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">With only six riders remaining, the Americans looked poised for a strong finish. As the race concluded, Barry secured silver and Drake claimed an impressive fourth in his World Championships debut.<\/p>\n<p>Results:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1. Seff van Kerckhove (BEL) \u2013 +8.58<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">4. <strong>Beckam Drake\u00a0<\/strong>(USA) \u2013 +13.55<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Women\u2019s Time Trial<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">In the Junior Women\u2019s Time Trial, <strong>Liliana Edwards<\/strong> (Washington, D.C.) and <strong>Lidia Cusack<\/strong> (Chevy Chase, Md.; Tofauti Everyone Active Majaco) lined up in the BK Arena to take on the 18-kilometer course. Edwards built momentum as the race unfolded, climbing from 11th at the first split to finish 9th at the line. Cusack started strong and held a steady pace to secure 13th place. Both riders delivered solid performances, averaging nearly 40 kph on the day.<\/p>\n<p>Results:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1. Oda Aune Gissinger (NOR) \u2013 +37.54<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">9.<strong> Liliana Edwards<\/strong>\u00a0(USA) \u2013 +1:32.76<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">13. <strong>Lidia Cusack<\/strong>\u00a0(USA) \u2013 +1:42.72<\/p>\n<p><strong>U23 Men\u2019s Time Trial<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Cole Kessler<\/strong>\u00a0(Newbury Park, Calif.; Lidl-Trek) had an incredibly fast first split then settled into his pace over the 31-kilometer race. He finished the day in 11th with a time of 40:31.81 averaging 46 kph.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Results:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1. Jakob Soderqvist (SWE) \u2013 38:24.43<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2. Nate Pringle (NZL) \u2013 +1:03.96<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3. Maxime Decomble (FRA) \u2013 +1:04.13<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">11.<strong> Cole Kessler<\/strong>\u00a0(USA) \u2013 +2:07.38<\/p>\n<p><strong>U23 Women\u2019s Time Trial<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Mia Aseltine<\/strong>\u00a0(Littleton, Colo.; Competitive Edge Racing) rode a strong and consistent race over 22.6-kilometers with promising splits. She finished the day in 33rd, averaging 36 kph.<\/p>\n<p>Results:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1. Zoe Backstedt (GBR) \u2013 30:56.16<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2. Viktoria Chlado\u0148ova (SVK) \u2013 +1:50.85<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3.
