Janice Dickinson<\/a>, who starred in I\u2019m A Celebrity<\/a>: South Africa, has filed a claim at the High Court<\/a> against ITV<\/a> after suffering a fall during filming.<\/p>\n The 70-year-old model first appeared on the reality series in 2007, followed by the All Stars season set in South Africa<\/a> in 2023.<\/p>\n The US<\/a> star had to withdraw from the show two years ago after she was injured tripping in the dark on her way to the toilet while in the jungle.<\/p>\n At the time, she was assessed by a medical team on site before being taken to the hospital for further tests as a precaution, where it was deemed best for her not to return to the camp.<\/p>\n Now, her representative has confirmed to Metro<\/strong> that a claim has been issued in relation to her appearance on the show and \u2018she looks forward to giving her full account in due course.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on I’m A Celeb\t\t\t<\/p>\n Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro\u2019s TV Newsletter.<\/p>\n Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your show in the link we\u2019ll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you.<\/p>\n ITV has declined to comment.<\/p>\n \t\t In an interview after the ordeal<\/a>, Dickinson told The Sun: \u2018I thought, \u201cGeez, I\u2019ll never work again.<\/p>\n \u2018I thought that because I was badly damaged. Certainly too damaged to go back on the show. I didn\u2019t require stitches, but they had to really clean the wounds really well. It was agony cleaning all the dirt and gravel off of my face, it was horrible.\u2019<\/p>\n In her own words at the time she recalled \u2018flying flat on my face \u2013 hair all over my forehead, my nose was bloody and my whole chin was gashed open.\u2019<\/p>\n Suffering with \u2018intense head pain\u2019 she was left \u2018lying and moaning\u2019 on the floor.<\/p>\n The \u2018world\u2019s first supermodel\u2019 also shared that she had laser treatment to \u2018help shrink the wounds\u2019 which she revealed ITV \u2018popped up and paid the bills\u2019 for, adding that the people at ITV she worked with and for \u2018couldn\u2019t have been nicer\u2019.<\/p>\n \t\t In total, she had said it took three months for the wounds to heal, although she did tell TV Mag \u2018there\u2019s still an indentation on my forehead, which I don\u2019t think will fill out.\u2019<\/p>\n Speaking to fans at the time, explaining her sudden exit from the show<\/a>, she had expressed a wish to keep on going. <\/p>\n \u2018I did my fair share in standing up, falling down. Getting my face in the dirt. I felt like they could have possibly cleaned my wounds and set me back on my path in there.<\/p>\n \u2018But production made the right decision in the end to not send me back in. I\u2019m just sad it ended that way.
