French President Emmanuel Macron likes to say he can get President Trump on the phone any time he wants. In New York, he proved it.<\/p>\n
Blocked on Monday night by police officers when he sought to cross a New York street \u2014 they told the French president the road was closed to let a VIP motorcade pass \u2014 Macron fished out his phone and called his U.S. counterpart.<\/p>\n
