An investigation is underway after two teenagers were stabbed in Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> and paramedics were called to Highfield Road, Alum Rock, just before 5pm on Sunday, September 21, where they found an 17-year-old and an 18-year-old with knife wounds.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Ambulance Service<\/a> gave trauma care at the scene for ‘potentially serious injuries’ before the victims were transferred to hospital.<\/p>\n

Their injuries were said to be non life-threatening.<\/p>\n

Police appealed to anyone with information or CCTV to get in touch.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re investigating after two teenagers were attacked in Alum Rock on Sunday.<\/p>\n

“We were called to Highfield Road shortly before 5pm following a report that two people had been stabbed.<\/p>\n

“On arrival, we discovered an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy had both sustained knife wounds.<\/p>\n

“They were treated for their injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.”<\/p>\n

West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a stabbing on Highfield Road, Washwood Heath, at 4.39pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n

“Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a trauma team responded to the scene.<\/p>\n

“Crews arrived to find two male patients who had sustained potentially serious injuries.<\/p>\n

“They received trauma care from ambulance staff before being conveyed to hospital for further emergency care.”<\/p>\n
