{"id":447291,"date":"2025-09-24T02:18:15","date_gmt":"2025-09-24T02:18:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/447291\/"},"modified":"2025-09-24T02:18:15","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T02:18:15","slug":"germany-and-netherlands-cast-net-wider-for-hydrogen-imports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/447291\/","title":{"rendered":"Germany and Netherlands cast net wider for hydrogen imports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            Two governments launch global tender, while Germany increases funding for regional supplies as efforts to secure imports intensify<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortened\">Germany and the Netherlands have ramped up their efforts to secure long-term imports of green hydrogen and other derivatives.<br \/>\nBoth countries are set to formally invite bids from potential EU-compliant green hydrogen suppliers across all non-EU regions of the world via a \u201cGlobal Lot\u201d auction, operated via the state-backed H2Global vehicle.<br \/>\nH2Global offers long-term offtake deals to hydrogen developers outside the EU, giving projects revenue certainty, which helps them to achieve FID.
