With October just around the corner, Halloween<\/a> decorations are starting to pop up in shops as people gear up for the forthcoming seasonal festivities.<\/p>\n For those keen to deck out their entire home <\/a>with ghostly adornments and hair-raising animatronics, The Range might be their first port of call.<\/p>\n The high street giant has issued a “public service announcement,” though, in a desperate plea to its customers to “please stop.”<\/p>\n The retailer, which boasts numerous branches across the UK, took to Facebook to urge shoppers to halt one ‘sly’ behaviour while perusing their stores.<\/p>\n This year, the homeware store has surpassed itself by offering an extensive array of decorations – including creepy clowns and moving skeletons, according to Plymouth Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n However, one particular decoration has garnered significant public interest – albeit perhaps not for the reasons intended.<\/p>\n The store’s Standing Animated Bride and Groom, dressed in period-style costumes for a “ghostly look”, emit sounds for “more spookiness” and have glowing eyes to “frighten” guests. It’s currently on offer for \u00a377.99, down from \u00a3129.99.<\/p>\n The product description on the website states: “Add a spooky yet enchanting feel to your space with the Standing Animated Bride and Groom.<\/p>\n “This terrifying bride and groom duo are clad in vintage-style wedding attire, lending them a spectral appearance. They feature light-up eyes and emit sounds to create a chilling atmosphere in any festive setting.”<\/p>\n The Range has been compelled to issue a public appeal after mischievous customers<\/a> kept repositioning a \u00a377.99 Halloween decoration in a rather rude manner.<\/p>\n The decoration, which shows a bride clutching her groom’s skeletal head, has become the target of countless pranks with shoppers shifting the groom’s head to a more provocative spot on the bride’s body.<\/p>\n Following the playful shenanigans witnessed in shops across the country, The Range turned to social media to make a nationwide declaration.<\/p>\n “PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Please stop playing tricks in our stores by moving the groom’s head into a cheeky position on this bride-and-groom duo,” it said.<\/p>\n “Nothing naughty here! This Standing Animated Bride and Groom just got married and are totally in love.”<\/p>\n Accompanying the message, the retailer<\/a> posted pictures of how the decoration should actually appear.<\/p>\n It said: “So, get your minds out of the ghoulish gutter. We’ve shared the correct display, so you know exactly how these lovebirds should be set up (PICTURE 1).”<\/p>\n The post has predictably generated enormous engagement, accumulating more than eight thousand likes and over one thousand comments.<\/p>\n One person joked: “Skeletons getting more action than I got on my wedding night, apparently grooms arent meant to get drunk at their wedding.”<\/p>\n Another quipped: “Too late, you’ve planted the idea now! Can’t promise every store display across the UK <\/a>is going to stay PG… love really does move in mysterious ways.”<\/p>\n A third chimed in: “Last time I went into the range, that is exactly how that display was set up, defo gave me a giggle.”<\/p>\n One individual commented: “I don’t live near a range, so please continue doing this! ! ! Ignore the fun police and keep making everybody laugh.
