While Harry has expressed a desire to reconcile with his family in the past, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/tag\/prince-william\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prince William<\/a><\/strong> doesn\u2019t believe he\u2019s being sincere.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWilliam accepted Charles meeting Harry, given the concerns about the King\u2019s health. But he isn\u2019t buying Harry\u2019s sudden charm act,\u201d according to a Buckingham Palace insider.<\/p>\n<p>Tensions have been high between the brothers since Harry moved to the United States with his wife, Meghan Markle. He got out of his royal duties not long before that.<\/p>\n<p>Prince William reportedly has \u201cno plans\u201d to let Prince Harry \u201cback in\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"732\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Prince-William-2.jpeg\" alt=\"Prince William and Kate Middleton \" class=\"wp-image-963933\"  \/>Photo Credit: Mark Cuthbert\/UK Press via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>There are plenty of past ills between Prince William and Harry, and healing those old wounds won\u2019t be easy. <a href=\"https:\/\/radaronline.com\/p\/king-charles-meeting-prince-harry-monarchy-future\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">One source<\/a> states that Harry requested a meeting with his father and him alone, without William.<\/p>\n<p>The reason, according to the source, was that \u201che (Harry) worried William\u2019s presence would spark confrontation. Charles agreed, but it only made William more resentful.\u201d It seems as though that move has added to the rift between the two brothers, making William resentful.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhatever Charles thinks, William has no plans to let him back in,\u201d a Palace insider said. Harry\u2019s memoir Spare, released in 2023, created more blood between the royal siblings. In the book, Harry shares many tense moments between his wife and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, and details about his brother that William didn\u2019t take kindly to. The book also discussed how the brothers had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/2025\/09\/23\/prince-harry-prince-william-queen-camilla-nicknames\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cruel nicknames<\/a> for Charles\u2019 wife, Camilla.<\/p>\n<p>While Charles is willing to let bygones be bygones, William, the heir to the throne, isn\u2019t quite so forgiving. \u201cWilliam represents the monarchy\u2019s future.
