Celtic are on their way back to Hampden.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brendan Rodgers\u2019<\/a> side made their last appearance at the national stadium in May\u2019s Scottish Cup final, which saw the Hoops\u2019 treble quest end at the last hurdle.<\/p>\n

Celtic<\/a> are now out to put that right, with wins over Falkirk and Partick Thistle seeing them enter the last four of the Premier Sports Cup.<\/a><\/p>\n

Their opponents? Russell Martin\u2019s Rangers, who have had an eventful beginning to their season, to say the least. Despite qualifying for the semi-finals of this tournament, they are yet to win in the league after five matches.<\/p>\n

Ironically, Rangers are the only side that the Hoops have failed to beat domestically so far this season, after a 0-0 draw at Ibrox. The kick-off time for their cup meeting has been confirmed.<\/p>\n

Celtic were comfortable in their victories over Falkirk and Thistle, meanwhile their rivals survived a scare against Alloa and intense protests before and during their quarter-final meeting with Hibs.<\/p>\n

And the sides will face off for a place in the final on Sunday, November 2nd at 2PM, it has been announced.<\/p>\n

The encounter will be shown live on Premier Sports (the tournament\u2019s title sponsor) \u2013 it will not be available on any regular Freeview channels.<\/p>\n

The other semi-final of the competition will be played the day before, between St Mirren and Motherwell, and will kick off at 5:30PM. <\/p>\n

The Hoops will be hoping to be playing the winner of that tie in the final, which will be at some point in December.<\/p>\n

The Scottish Cup<\/a> wasn\u2019t the only tournament which saw Celtic in a final penalty shootout last season \u2013 it happened in this competition, too.<\/p>\n

Rodgers\u2019 men came out on top on that occasion, triumphing after a thrilling 3-3 draw which put fans\u2019 emotions through the wringer.<\/p>\n

The Parkhead faithful will be hoping that the match is less nerve-racking on this occasion, and barring major changes in the two sides\u2019 form, the Hoops will be entering the encounter as favourites.<\/p>\n

But Celtic remain without a win over the Ibrox side in 2025, failing in their four attempts so far this year.
