Meghan Markle has paid a touching tribute to her late mother-in-law by wearing Princess Diana’s ring during her appearance at the Time100 Summit in New York on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of Sussex was accompanied by Prince Harry as she prepared to speak at the prestigious event at Jazz at Lincoln Center.<\/p>\n

The couple were photographed smiling as they arrived in the major US city for the fifth-annual summit.<\/p>\n

Meghan looked elegant in a tan suit with wide-legged trousers and a white button-up top, accessorised with a belt and gold watch.<\/p>\n

Most notably, she wore a piece of jewellery once belonging to Princess Diana, honouring her husband’s mother during this high-profile appearance.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old completed her sophisticated look with hoop earrings and wore her hair parted down the middle in loose waves.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry opted for a navy blue suit for the Manhattan outing.<\/p>\n

Meghan was confirmed to be attending the event alongside celebrities like Demi Moore and Ryan Reynolds.<\/p>\n

During the summit, she chatted on stage with Time’s Jessica Sibley about her latest podcast, “Confessions of a Female Founder”.<\/p>\n

Despite receiving an invitation, the Duchess has not been featured on any of the five worldwide covers for TIME’s 100 most influential people list.<\/p>\n

The summit aims to “spotlight solutions and encourage action toward a better world”.<\/p>\n

During her conversation, Meghan described herself as the “happiest [she has] ever been” in her current life.<\/p>\n

She said: “To have a husband and a partner who is so supportive and kids who are healthy and happy, I never imagined at this point I would feel so happy and grateful, and I really do.”<\/p>\n

The Duchess mentioned that her five-year-old son, Prince Archie, is about to lose his first tooth and explained that she intended to “make it home in time” to witness this milestone.<\/p>\n

Meghan has recently launched her lifestyle brand, As Ever, and has been vocal about Harry’s support for the venture.<\/p>\n
