A man was taken off an easyJet<\/a> flight by police moments after it landed in Manchester Airport<\/a>.<\/p>\n Officers were waiting for the 32-year-old when the flight from Egypt landed on Tuesday morning (September 23).<\/p>\n As previously reported by the Manchester Evening News, flight EZY2252 was already delayed by the time it arrived in the UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n The flight, which left Hurghada on Monday, was diverted to Brindisi in Italy after another passenger was taken ill.<\/p>\n Never miss a story with the MEN’s daily Catch Up newsletter – get it in your inbox by signing up here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Passengers said they were stuck on the runway for ‘two hours’ from 2am, with flight data showing the plane took off for Manchester from Brindisi at around 4am.<\/p>\n But the delay did not deter police, who were waiting for the suspect on-board who was wanted in connection with drug supply offences in Bradford, West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in Bradford.<\/p>\n “He was later released under investigation.
