{"id":450711,"date":"2025-09-25T15:55:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-25T15:55:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/450711\/"},"modified":"2025-09-25T15:55:10","modified_gmt":"2025-09-25T15:55:10","slug":"musselburgh-ministers-21-mile-kiltwalk-raises-3000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/450711\/","title":{"rendered":"Musselburgh minister&#8217;s 21-mile KiltWalk raises \u00a33,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  This was the seventh time that the Rev Dr Leslie Milton, minister at St Andrew\u2019s High Church, has taken part in the event.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  This time, he took on the Mighty Stride of about 21 miles, starting at Holyrood and finishing at Murrayfield.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Dr Milton, whose dog Bert joined him for the final five miles, said: \u201cThe KiltWalk is always an inspiring event and this year was no exception.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;It is an amazing testament to the many people across our communities who are committed to improving the lives of people locally and throughout the world.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He added: \u201cI was part of the Edinburgh KiltWalk Christian Aid team. Eight of us were taking part, participating in each of the three distances: 21 miles, 11 miles and five miles.
