The company\u2019s first estimate projected restoration by 11:10 a.m., but that timeline was later pushed back to 2 p.m. in a follow-up message sent to customers at 10:01 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">\u201cWe\u2019re working to resolve the issue by approximately 09\/25\/2025 11:10 am (Eastern). We apologize for any inconvenience. We\u2019ll text you with updates,\u201d read the initial customer notification.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">The outage has impacted multiple neighborhoods including Seminary Hill, Taylor Run, Eisenhower West and areas near the Potomac River, according to Comcast\u2019s <a class=\"underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.xfinity.com\/support\/status\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">outage map<\/a>. Purple circles indicating the highest level of service disruptions \u2014 affecting more than 2,000 customers each \u2014 are scattered throughout Alexandria.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Customers are experiencing outages affecting internet, cable television, phone and streaming services. The outage map shows concentrated service disruptions in densely populated areas, with some neighborhoods experiencing smaller-scale outages.
