Sheffield Theatres and Evolution Productions have announced the full cast set to star in\u00a0Aladdin, this year\u2019s Christmas pantomime at the Lyceum Theatre.<\/p>\n
As previously announced,\u00a0Strictly Come Dancing\u00a0superstar Kevin Clifton will take on the role of Ivan Tochacha, alongside CBeebies\u2019 favourite Evie Pickerill as the Spirit of the Ring and the legendary Damian Williams as Dame Dolly.<\/p>\n
Taking on the titular role of Aladdin is Sario Solomon, who was recently seen on tour in Grease. He will be joined by Lauren Chia, direct from the UK tour of\u00a0The Rocky Horror Show, as Princess Jasmine, and Elliot Broadfoot, who was previously seen at Sheffield Lyceum in\u00a0I Should Be So Lucky, as the Genie.<\/p>\n
Returning to the Lyceum pantomime are Barnsley-based comic and presenter George Akid as PC World and Joey Wilby as Charlie. Akid performed in last year\u2019s pantomime Snow White, whilst Wilby entertained audiences in 2022\u2019s\u00a0Jack and the Beanstalk.<\/p>\n
Joining the company is a talented ensemble including Thandie Nsingo, Eleanor Rose Jackson, Charlotte Ross Gower, Max Sanderson, Onuri Smith and Lucas Wells, with Jackson performing in her hometown of Sheffield.<\/p>\n
Once again, the show will be written and directed by Paul Hendy and produced by Evolution Productions, the same team behind last year\u2019s\u00a0Snow White, winner of Best Pantomime at the UK Pantomime Awards.<\/p>\n
The creative team consists of choreographer Sarah Langley; set designers Morgan Brind, Michelle Marden and Stuart Relph; costume designers Morgan Brind and Amy Chamberlain; dame costume designers Michael J Batchelor and Joey\u2019s Dame Creations; lighting designer Mark Dymock; sound designer Chris Whybrow and sound operator Will Jackson.<\/p>\n
James Harrison, known for being \u2018the most enthusiastic man in showbusiness\u2019 returns to the Lyceum as musical director, alongside a band consisting of Danny Hammerton, James Clarke and Mikey Ciancio.<\/p>\n
Aladdin\u00a0runs from 5th December 2025 until 4th January 2026 at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield.
