stunning new eatery, opened its doors last week on Ingram Street in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/glasgow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Glasgow<\/a>\u2018s Merchant twistCredit: Alamy Stock Photo<\/p>\n<p>The brand-new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/restaurant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">restaurant<\/a> is firmly rooted in traditional Italian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/cooking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cooking<\/a> but with a modern twist in its style and concept.<\/p>\n<p>And the menu looks absolutely mouthwatering with dishes ranging from an affordable \u00a34 to \u00a314.<\/p>\n<p>The showstopper is the fresh pasta which is crafted in-house every day. <\/p>\n<p>Variations of the pasta dishes are on offer including a delicious sounding one with crab, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/shetland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shetland<\/a> mussels, chef\u2019s \u2018pizzette\u2019 perfect for sharing of enjoying solo.<\/p>\n<p>While the food might be ahead of the curve, the dining style is relaxed and informal. <\/p>\n<p>Dishes are brought to the table as soon as they are ready, bringing a constant and engaging experience. <\/p>\n<p>Malocchio said their style is designed to encourage sharing, \u201cexploring different flavours and enjoying food as it\u2019s meant to be enjoyed \u2013 fresh and full of life\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The team have also created a beautiful drinks menu to complement the food menu. <\/p>\n<p>The restaurant said: \u201cOur team has spent longer than we care to admit creating, tweaking, tasting and refining our cocktail offering \u2013 modern classics and signature creations share bold, fresh flavours and the omnipresent twist that\u2019s at the heart of our restaurant. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNuzzle a negroni, slide into a spritz or take the plunge into one of our dazzling new creations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There is also an impressive selection of non-alcoholic options available. <\/p>\n<p>The restaurant is named after the traditional Italian superstition of the evil eye and Il Corno \u2013 the horn amulet which fends off the negative energy and brings in good luck. <\/p>\n<p>The team has ingrained the concept into their food which they say is \u201cpacked with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/love\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">love<\/a> and positivity, warding off the negativity of everyday life and the crazy world\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>The new restaurant opened its doors last Thursday, September 18.<\/p>\n<p>It took over the old Mediterraneo restaurant on Ingram Street, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/money\/14801201\/much-loved-italian-restaurant-closing-glasgow-plans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the much-loved Italian which shut its doors
