Michael Owen<\/a> believes William Saliba<\/a> will be furious with David Raya<\/a> over Jean-Philippe Mateta\u2019s equaliser in Arsenal<\/a>\u2019s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace<\/a> on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n Mikel Arteta\u2019s side are now on the brink of conceding the Premier League title to Liverpool, who now need just a point against Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday to be crowned champions<\/a>.<\/p>\n Arsenal took the lead twice against Palace through Jakub Kiwior and Leandro Trossard but goals from Eberechi Eze and Mateta secured a point for Palace, who remain 12th in the table.<\/p>\n Mateta\u2019s equaliser came after Saliba gifted possession to the Palace striker, who produced a brilliant chipped effort to beat Raya, who was caught out of position.<\/p>\n But Owen says he \u2018feels sorry\u2019 for Saliba after Raya failed to make an angle for a pass back to goal in order to ease the pressure from Palace\u2019s attackers.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on Arsenal everyday\t\t\t<\/p>\n Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro\u2019s Football Newsletter. <\/p>\n Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your team in the link we\u2019ll send you so we can get football news tailored to you.<\/p>\n \u2018Everybody knows Raya takes big angles,\u2019 Owen told Premier League Productions.<\/p>\n \u2018But once the angle is a closed one, once Saliba is about to go wide to Timber, or potentially, Raya should be sprinting back to make his new angle just in case he comes back.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018He [Raya] was never, ever going to be in the game and I feel sorry for Saliba because all he does is make one mistake in many ways.<\/p>\n \u2018If I was Saliba there I would be going into the dressing room screaming at Raya, screaming at him.<\/p>\n \u2018Okay, make an angle, that\u2019s fine, help me out sometimes, but if you\u2019re in doubt just get in a position where I can always pass to you.
