Prince William has made a heartbreaking admission during a rare television appearance.<\/p>\n
The Prince of Wales opened up about the “hardest year of his life,” in a chat with Canadian comedian, Eugene Levy, on his new show The Reluctant Traveller.<\/p>\n
In the episode, the actor travelled to London, where a segment focuses on the comedian meeting Prince William<\/a> at Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n Prince William welcomed the Schitt’s Creek star warmly, showing him around the estate and joking over how they “provide this service for everyone,” adding “we do personalised tours everywhere.”<\/p>\n READ MORE: Princess Eugenie makes major announcement after Sarah Ferguson scandal<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n After a walk around the grounds, William and Eugene sat down to enjoy a pint at a local pub, which is where the future King opened up in an emotional moment.<\/p>\n He shared the difficulties the Royal Family<\/a> has faced over the last year, in reference to both his father, King Charles, and wife, Princess Kate, being diagnosed with cancer within just weeks of each other, the Mirror <\/a>reported.<\/p>\n The Prince of Wales said: “I’d say 2024 was the hardest year I’ve ever had. You know, life is sent to test us as well, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are.”<\/p>\n William’s comment echoed one he made during his trip to South Africa in November, where William admitted to how the year had been “dreadful,” adding again “it’s probably been the hardest year in my life.”<\/p>\n
