Serena Williams<\/a> has taken to Instagram after receiving a package from Meghan Markle<\/a>‘s brand As Ever<\/a>. Meghan released a red wine as part of her brand back in July, with a 2024 edition of the alcoholic beverage released last month<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old launched her lifestyle brand in March 2025<\/a>, with the launch coinciding with the release of her Netflix<\/a> series, With Love, Meghan. Serena, who is one of Meghan’s long-time friends, was sent the 2024 edition of the wine.<\/p>\n

Unboxing three bottles of the wine on her Instagram<\/a> story, Serena can be heard saying that Meghan has “treated” her, adding, “Thank you, yes, I can’t wait”. She then added that it is “12 o’clock somewhere”.<\/p>\n

Following the release of the first series of Meghan’s show in March, the tennis champion said: “I\u2019m so excited for you to check out “WITH LOVE, MEGHAN” now streaming exclusively on Netflix<\/a>! Join my wonderful friend @meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, as she opens up her world and shares her personal tips for the kitchen, garden, and so much more.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s a fun and inspiring series that reminds us all how easy it is to bring a little beauty into our everyday lives, even when we least expect it. Can\u2019t wait for you to experience it!”<\/p>\n

The pair have been friends since 2014, after originally meeting for the first time in 2010.<\/p>\n

Meghan previously spoke about her friendship with Serena in a post on her now-closed blog, The Tig, in 2014, as she recalled her first impressions.<\/p>\n

At the time, Meghan – who is mum to six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet – said: “When Serena Williams barrelled in my direction this past February at an event, nails done, hair done, everything did, I’ll be honest and say I looked behind me to see who she was running to. It was Serena Williams, after all.<\/p>\n
