All six episodes of Finnish crime drama Codename: Annika are now available to stream in the UK after being added to Channel 4’s streaming service<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The official synopsis for the shows reads: “Novice undercover cop Emma Haka poses as an expert in Stockholm’s corrupt fine art trade to catch out criminals. One wrong move and she’s toast. Thrilling Finnish crime drama from Walter Presents.”<\/p>\n

First airing in Finland in 2023, the show has received a pretty decent reception from fans.<\/p>\n

On IMDb<\/a>, it has an average score of 6.8 out of 10 from 854 user ratings. There’s only three user reviews on the site, but all of them are positive. <\/p>\n

“I love all the languages used in this series! In particular the continuous use of both Swedish and Finnish. The countries that are located so close to each other, yet, there is a huge gap in series or films like these,” wrote one fan.<\/p>\n

They added: “Love that they just work together instead of there being some type of argument Finns vs. Swedes, that we typically see in all other productions with the two languages used.”<\/p>\n

“On the face of it, a series about an investigator into art crimes doesn’t sound riveting. However, this six-part season set in both Sweden and Finland and using both languages was fascinating and held the attention,” reads another review.<\/p>\n

The final review praised Sannah Nederg\u00e5rd, who stars in the lead role, saying she “perfectly portrayed” her character.<\/p>\n
