A man was rushed to hospital after he was struck with a weapon during a serious assault<\/a> in Glasgow.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old victim was attacked around 10pm on Thursday, 25 September, in the Whitefield Road area of Govan.<\/a><\/p>\n

Officers<\/a> say he was approached by two men, one of whom struck him with a weapon.<\/p>\n

The man was taken to hospital<\/a> for treatment. His condition has not been disclosed.<\/p>\n

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and provide any CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area.<\/p>\n

Detective Sergeant Nicol McPherson said: \u201cEnquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything to contact us. We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
